If you are running LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, submissions land in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and then they wait. There is no native LinkedIn Brevo integration to add those leads to your list and start an automation, so most teams export by hand and the welcome message goes out far too late.
This guide shows you how to connect LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms to Brevo so every submission is added to your list in real time, ready for your automation, with full field mapping.
Key point: Brevo stores contact data in attributes, and its SMS attribute needs the phone number in international format. Keep that in mind when you map the phone field.
Why You Need a LinkedIn Brevo Integration
LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms convert well because they are pre-filled and reach professionals. Without a LinkedIn email and SMS marketing integration, that advantage fades:
- Speed to lead matters. A welcome email or SMS that arrives in minutes beats one sent days later.
- No CSV imports. Exporting from LinkedIn and importing into Brevo is slow and easy to forget.
- Automations start on list membership. Adding the contact to a list during the sync triggers your workflow.
- Email and SMS together. Brevo lets you follow up by both channels, but only if the data lands correctly.
What You Will Need
- A LeadSync account
- A LinkedIn account with Lead Gen Form access in Campaign Manager
- An active LinkedIn Lead Gen Form campaign
- A Brevo account
How to Set Up Your LinkedIn Brevo Integration
The whole setup takes about five minutes.
Step 1: Connect Your LinkedIn Account
- Log in to your LeadSync account
- Go to Ad Accounts > LinkedIn from the left menu
- Click Add LinkedIn Account
- Sign in to LinkedIn and authorize LeadSync to access your lead data
- Your account appears in the table once connected
LeadSync uses OAuth, so we never see your LinkedIn password. We request only the permissions needed to read Lead Gen Form submissions.
Step 2: Connect Your Brevo Account
- Go to Connections from the left menu
- Click Add Connection
- Select Brevo from the dropdown
- Enter your Brevo API key (found under SMTP and API in your Brevo settings)
- Name your connection (for example, “LinkedIn Leads to Brevo”)
- Click Update Connection
Step 3: Connect Your Lead Gen Form With Field Mapping
- Go to Lead Forms from the left menu
- Click Add LinkedIn Lead Form
- Select your Ad Account
- Select your Lead Gen Form
- Select your Brevo Connection and the target list
- Map your fields (see the guide below)
- Click Update Notification
Step 4: Test Your Integration
Submit a test lead through your LinkedIn campaign. Within a minute or two the contact should appear on your Brevo list with the attributes populated. If you set up an automation, confirm it started.
LinkedIn to Brevo Field Mapping Guide
Brevo stores contact data in attributes. Here is how common LinkedIn fields map across:
| LinkedIn Field | Brevo Attribute | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Required. Brevo uses email as the unique identifier. | ||
| First Name | FIRSTNAME | Pre-filled from the LinkedIn profile. |
| Last Name | LASTNAME | Pre-filled from the LinkedIn profile. |
| Phone Number | SMS | Needs international format with country code to be usable for SMS. |
| Company Name | Custom attribute | Create a "COMPANY" attribute first, then map it. |
| Job Title | Custom attribute | Create a "JOBTITLE" attribute first, then map it. |
| Custom Questions | Custom attributes | Create matching attributes in Brevo before mapping. |
Important: Email is required, and any custom attribute must exist in Brevo before you map to it. For SMS follow-up, the phone number must be in international format.
What Happens After Leads Sync to Brevo
Once the Brevo LinkedIn integration is live, the automation does the work:
- Trigger an automation workflow the moment the contact joins the list.
- Send a welcome email or SMS so every LinkedIn lead hears from you the same day.
- Score and segment LinkedIn leads separately from other sources.
- Branch by attribute, for example by company or job title.
Troubleshooting Common Issues
Can’t See Your LinkedIn Ad Account?
Make sure your LinkedIn account has admin access to the ad account and Lead Gen Form access in Campaign Manager.
Leads Not Appearing in Brevo?
- Email not mapped: Brevo needs email to add a contact. Confirm the mapping.
- Attribute missing: If you mapped to an attribute that does not exist, create it first.
- Wrong API key: Re-copy the key from SMTP and API.
SMS Not Sending?
Brevo’s SMS attribute needs the phone number in international format with a country code. A local-format number will not work for SMS.
Lead Gen Form Not Showing in LeadSync?
Your form must belong to an active or paused campaign to appear. Draft forms that have never run will not show up.
Frequently Asked Questions
Does LinkedIn have a native Brevo integration?
No. A third-party tool like LeadSync creates the connection and adds the contact automatically.
How fast do LinkedIn leads reach Brevo?
Most appear within 60 seconds of submission.
Why is SMS not working?
The phone number needs international format with a country code to be usable for Brevo SMS.
Can I trigger an automation?
Yes. Add the contact to a list during the sync and use list membership as the automation trigger.
Is my data secure?
Yes. LeadSync uses OAuth for LinkedIn and a secure API connection to Brevo, and encrypts data in transit and at rest.
