How to Send LinkedIn Lead Gen Leads to GetResponse Instantly

If you are running LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, submissions land in LinkedIn Campaign Manager and then nothing happens automatically. There is no native LinkedIn GetResponse integration to add those leads to your list and start an autoresponder, so most teams export a CSV and the welcome email goes out days late.

This guide shows you how to connect LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms to GetResponse so every submission is added to your list in real time, ready for your autoresponder, with full field mapping.

Key point: GetResponse uses one name field, not two. Map LinkedIn first and last name together so the full name lands.

Why You Need a LinkedIn GetResponse Integration

LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms convert well because they are pre-filled and reach professionals. Without a LinkedIn email marketing integration, that advantage fades fast:

  • Speed to lead matters. A welcome email that arrives in minutes beats one sent next week.
  • No CSV imports. Exporting from LinkedIn and importing into GetResponse is slow and easy to forget.
  • Autoresponders start on a list. Adding the contact to a list during the sync triggers your sequence.
  • Better segmentation. Sending LinkedIn leads to their own list keeps them separate from other sources.

What You Will Need

  • A LeadSync account
  • A LinkedIn account with Lead Gen Form access in Campaign Manager
  • An active LinkedIn Lead Gen Form campaign
  • A GetResponse account

How to Set Up Your LinkedIn GetResponse Integration

The whole setup takes about five minutes.

Step 1: Connect Your LinkedIn Account

  1. Log in to your LeadSync account
  2. Go to Ad Accounts > LinkedIn from the left menu
  3. Click Add LinkedIn Account
  4. Sign in to LinkedIn and authorize LeadSync to access your lead data
  5. Your account appears in the table once connected

LeadSync uses OAuth, so we never see your LinkedIn password. We request only the permissions needed to read Lead Gen Form submissions.

Step 2: Connect Your GetResponse Account

  1. Go to Connections from the left menu
  2. Click Add Connection
  3. Select GetResponse from the dropdown
  4. Enter your GetResponse API key (found under Integrations and API in GetResponse)
  5. Name your connection (for example, “LinkedIn Leads to GetResponse”)
  6. Click Update Connection

Step 3: Connect Your Lead Gen Form With Field Mapping

  1. Go to Lead Forms from the left menu
  2. Click Add LinkedIn Lead Form
  3. Select your Ad Account
  4. Select your Lead Gen Form
  5. Select your GetResponse Connection and the target list
  6. Map your fields (see the guide below)
  7. Click Update Notification

Step 4: Test Your Integration

Submit a test lead through your LinkedIn campaign. Within a minute or two the contact should appear on your GetResponse list with the mapped fields populated. If you attached an autoresponder, confirm it sent.

LinkedIn to GetResponse Field Mapping Guide

GetResponse keeps a lean contact and handles extra data through custom fields:

LinkedIn FieldGetResponse FieldNotes
EmailEmailRequired. GetResponse uses email as the unique identifier.
First Name + Last NameNameGetResponse uses one name field, so map both LinkedIn fields here.
Phone NumberCustom fieldCreate a "Phone" custom field first, then map it.
Company NameCustom fieldCreate a "Company" custom field first, then map it.
Job TitleCustom fieldCreate a "Job Title" custom field first, then map it.
Custom QuestionsCustom fieldsCreate matching custom fields in GetResponse before mapping.

Important: Email is required, and any custom field must exist in GetResponse before you map to it.

What Happens After Leads Sync to GetResponse

Once the GetResponse LinkedIn integration is live, the automation does the work:

  • Trigger an autoresponder cycle the moment the contact joins the list.
  • Run an automation workflow based on list membership or a tag.
  • Score and tag LinkedIn leads to prioritize sales follow-up.
  • Segment by custom field, for example by company or job title.

Troubleshooting Common Issues

Can’t See Your LinkedIn Ad Account?

Make sure your LinkedIn account has admin access to the ad account and Lead Gen Form access in Campaign Manager.

Leads Not Appearing in GetResponse?

  • Email not mapped: GetResponse needs email to add a contact. Confirm the mapping.
  • Custom field missing: If you mapped to a field that does not exist, create it first.
  • Wrong API key: Re-copy the key from Integrations and API.

Lead Gen Form Not Showing in LeadSync?

Your form must belong to an active or paused campaign to appear. Draft forms that have never run will not show up.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does LinkedIn have a native GetResponse integration?

No. LinkedIn does not push Lead Gen Form submissions into GetResponse on its own. You need a third-party tool like LeadSync to connect the two and add each lead to your list automatically.

How fast do LinkedIn leads reach GetResponse?

Most leads appear in your GetResponse list within 60 seconds of submission, fast enough for an autoresponder to send a welcome email while the lead is still engaged.

Can I trigger an autoresponder when a LinkedIn lead is added?

Yes. Add the contact to a specific list during the sync, then attach an autoresponder or automation to that list so your welcome series begins automatically.

How does LinkedIn name data map to GetResponse?

GetResponse stores a contact’s name in a single name field, while LinkedIn provides separate first and last name. Map both LinkedIn fields into the GetResponse name field so the full name is captured. Company and job title go to custom fields.

Is my lead data secure?

Yes. LeadSync uses OAuth for LinkedIn and a secure connection to GetResponse, so your LinkedIn password is never stored. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and only the permissions needed to sync leads are used.
