Prerequisites
Before you start, ensure you have the following:
- A Facebook Business Manager Account with access to Facebook Lead Ads.
- A Mailercloud Account with API access.
- A LeadSync Account to facilitate the integration.
Create a Mailercloud Connection in LeadSync
So you can access your Facebook (Meta) leads in Mailercloud, we’ll start by adding a Mailercloud connection to your LeadSync account.
From the Connections area, click the Add Connection button.
Select Mailercloud from the dropdown menu.
Create a Mailercloud API Key
In your Mailercloud account, click on your Profile name at the bottom left of the screen, then Account.
Click the Integrations > API Keys menu item, then click the Create API Key button.
Name your API Key as LeadSync, then copy the API Key.
Paste the API Key into your Mailercloud LeadSync connection and click Update Connection.
Select the Mailercloud list you’d like the leads to be added to and select an existing tag. Click Update connection to finish adding the connection.
Pairing a Facebook Lead form to a Mailercloud Connection
Now we need to pair the Lead Form you’re using in your lead ads to the Mailercloud connection you just added.
Go to the Lead Forms section in LeadSync and click Add Facebook Lead Form.
Select the Page and the Form being used in your lead ad. Then select the Mailercloud connection you created above.
Map the fields from your Facebook lead form to the available Mailercloud fields.
Click the Update notification button to finish you Mailercloud integration setup.
