How Facebook Leads Land in Your GetResponse Campaign

GetResponse uses the term Campaigns rather than lists -- a Campaign is the container for subscribers, autoresponder cycles, and segmentation in your account. LeadSync connects via your GetResponse API key and adds each Facebook, Google, LinkedIn, or TikTok lead as a contact in the Campaign you select, with name, email, and any mapped custom fields populated.

Setup is a single API key from your GetResponse account (Menu › Integrations & API › API). LeadSync pulls every Campaign across your account so you can pick the right destination per lead source -- particularly useful if you run separate Campaigns for different products or regions and want each lead source routed correctly.

Day-Zero Autoresponder Placement

GetResponse's autoresponder cycles are sequenced by day-of-cycle -- day 0 is the welcome email, day 1 is the first follow-up, and so on. LeadSync explicitly places new contacts at dayOfCycle = 0, which means your welcome email fires immediately and the entire follow-up sequence runs in order from there.

This matters because a contact added at day 7 (for example) would skip your first six emails. By forcing day-zero placement, LeadSync ensures every Facebook lead gets the full nurture experience exactly the same as a contact who signed up via your own GetResponse opt-in form.

Custom Fields and Field Mapping

GetResponse custom fields are defined per-account (Contacts › Custom Fields). LeadSync fetches your full list of custom fields when you set up the connection and exposes them in the field mapping screen alongside the standard fields. Map each lead form question at the matching custom field -- text, number, date, single-select -- and the value flows into GetResponse correctly typed.

For full-name override and email override, use the special custom_name and custom_email mapping options if your lead form uses non-standard field names. Otherwise, LeadSync uses the standard email and full_name fields automatically.

Frequently Asked Questions

In GetResponse, go to Menu > Integrations & API > API and generate an API key. Paste it into LeadSync when adding GetResponse as a destination. LeadSync will pull every Campaign across your account so you can pick the destination for each lead source.
Yes. LeadSync places new contacts at day-zero of your autoresponder cycle, which means the first email in the sequence sends immediately and the rest run in order. Your Facebook lead gets the same nurture experience as someone who signed up via your own GetResponse opt-in form.
In GetResponse terminology, Campaign is the container for subscribers, autoresponder cycles, and segmentation -- the same concept other tools call a list or audience. Each LeadSync connection points at one Campaign, but you can create multiple connections to route different lead sources to different Campaigns.
GetResponse de-duplicates contacts by email within a Campaign, so a repeat submission updates the existing contact rather than creating a duplicate. Your contact count stays accurate.
Yes. Create the matching custom field in GetResponse first (Contacts > Custom Fields), then map it in the LeadSync field mapping screen. Custom fields support text, number, date, and single-select types, and the value is correctly typed when sent to GetResponse.
Yes. Each LeadSync connection points at one Campaign, so create separate connections for each lead source -- Facebook leads to one Campaign, LinkedIn leads to another, TikTok leads to a third -- each with its own field mapping and autoresponder logic.
Yes. LeadSync supports GetResponse as a destination for lead forms from Facebook, Instagram, Google Ads lead form extensions, LinkedIn Lead Gen Forms, and TikTok Lead Generation. Each ad source becomes its own connection.
Yes. GetResponse Automation triggers on contact creation, list addition, or tag application -- all of which happen when LeadSync delivers a Facebook lead. Build your Automation in GetResponse and it fires within seconds of the lead form submission, picking up the same flow it would for any other newly added contact.
Yes. GetResponse Automation conditions can branch on any custom field value -- so if you map a "preferred contact method" question on your Facebook form to a custom field in GetResponse, your Automation can route SMS-preferring leads down one branch and email-preferring leads down another, all without manual intervention.
In GetResponse, go to Contacts and filter by your destination Campaign, sorted by date added. Newly delivered LeadSync leads appear within seconds of the form submission. The LeadSync admin also logs each delivery, so you can cross-reference the timestamp if you suspect anything is missing.
