What is the Facebook Leads Center?

The Facebook Leads Center is platform provided by Facebook to help businesses manage the leads they collect through their lead ads. This centralized hub allows you to view, organize, and follow up with leads in a streamlined manner. It’s Facebook’s version of a simple free CRM for managing the leads you generate via Facebook lead ads.

Connecting to the correct Facebook page is crucial to access key features like the Leads Center and ensure effective communication with leads generated through ads.

Key Features of the Facebook Leads Center

The Facebook Leads Center is a powerful tool designed to help businesses manage their leads effectively. Here are some of the standout features that make it an invaluable resource:

Centralized Lead Management: All the leads generated via your Lead Ad campaigns are collected and stored in one place. This centralization makes it incredibly easy to view, organize, and follow up with your leads without the hassle of juggling multiple tools.

Customizable Dashboards: The Leads Center offers customizable dashboards, allowing you to tailor the interface to your specific needs and preferences. This means you can set up your workspace in a way that best suits your workflow and business requirements.

Lead Tracking: With the Facebook Leads Center, you can track the performance of your Lead Ad campaigns in real-time. This includes monitoring the number of leads generated, conversion rates, and other critical metrics, giving you valuable insights into your campaign’s effectiveness.

Lead Management Tools: The platform provides a range of tools to help you manage your leads efficiently. You can assign leads to team members, add notes and comments, and track the status of each lead. This ensures that no lead falls through the cracks and that your team can follow up promptly and effectively.

How to Access the Lead Center in Meta Business Suite

If you’re running Facebook and Instagram Ad campaigns then you will most likely be using Meta Business Suite.

Meta Business Suite has become somewhat of a behemoth and it can be difficult to find stuff… even for seasoned campaigners, but you should be able to access the Lead Center by finding it in the left hand navigation. Understanding the ad creation process is crucial to effectively use the Lead Center. If you can’t see it there, then try this link:

Desktop Access

Accessing the Facebook Leads Center on your desktop is straightforward. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Log in to your Meta Business Suite account.

  2. Click on the “All Tools” button located on the left-hand side of the page.

  3. From the drop-down menu, select “Leads Center.”

  4. You will be directed to the Facebook Leads Center dashboard, where you can view and manage all your leads.

By following these simple steps, you can easily access the Facebook Leads Center and start managing your leads more effectively.

Using the Leads Center

The default Leads Center view includes 3 columns in a Kanban type board called the Pipeline view.

  • Intake

  • Qualified

  • Converted

Efficiently accessing and handling new leads through the Leads Center is crucial for managing and acquiring leads generated through Facebook Lead Ads.

You can drag leads from one list to the other to represent where they are in your pipeline.

You can also customize and add to these lists to make it better suit your lead conversion process.

If you prefer to see your leads in a table, change to table view:

And of course, there are a myriad of filtering options so that you can filter leads based on:

  • Campaign

  • Form

  • Date the lead was generated

  • Status

  • Source

  • Assigned to

  • and Label

Managing Individual Leads

Clicking on a lead will bring up the lead details. In this panel you can:

  • View the form the lead filled in

  • Edit the Contacts info

  • Click on the lead’s email address to send them an email (from your email client – not from within Facebook)

  • Add labels

  • Assign Leads to other people who have been added to your Meta Business Suit account.

  • Schedule reminders

  • Add notes

  • View all the form answers the lead filled out.

Collecting and managing valuable leads through Facebook lead ads is crucial for improving your lead generation strategies. This ensures you connect with genuinely interested leads and maintain compliance with privacy regulations like GDPR.

Integrating Your CRM with Facebook Leads

Integrating your CRM with Facebook Leads can significantly streamline your lead management process and boost your conversion rates. Here’s how you can connect your CRM to Facebook:

Connecting Your CRM to Facebook

To connect your CRM to Facebook, follow these steps:

  1. Log in to your Meta Business Suite account.

  2. Click on the “All Tools” button on the left-hand side of the page.

  3. Select “Settings” from the drop-down menu.

  4. Click on “Business Integrations” and choose “CRM” from the list of available integrations.

  5. Follow the prompts to connect your CRM to Facebook.

By integrating your CRM with Facebook, you can ensure that all your leads are automatically synced, making it easier to manage and follow up with them.

Automating Lead Management for Better Conversions

Automating your lead management process can save you time and improve your conversion rates. Here are some steps to send lead information directly to your CRM:

Send Lead Information Directly to Your CRM

  1. Log in to your Meta Business Suite account.

  2. Click on the “All Tools” button on the left-hand side of the page.

  3. Select “Leads Center” from the drop-down menu.

By automating the transfer of lead information to your CRM, you can streamline your lead management process and focus on converting those leads into customers. Ensure your CRM is always up-to-date and integrated with Facebook Leads to maximize your lead generation efforts.

Why You Shouldn’t use the Meta Leads Center

While it’s great that Meta has created this basic free CRM to manage leads, most businesses, big and small, tend to have multiple sources of leads. You probably (hopefully) generate leads via your website, LinkedIn and maybe even TikTok.

Having the one place to store and keep track of leads makes managing and nurturing them much much simpler. Hence why I wouldn’t recommend that you use the Meta Leads Center to manage leads.

If you encounter technical issues with Facebook Lead Ads and the Make platform, you can create a new free account to access support and troubleshooting.

There are a myriad of free and paid options available when it comes to CRM’s and they all have their pros and cons. Some of the most popular include Copper, Hubspot, Zoho, ActiveCampaign and PipeDrive.

There are also industry specific CRM’s such as Liondesk for real estate and DocEngage for medical practitioners.

If you want to head down the free DIY path, you can create your own using Google Sheets.

At the end of the day, the best CRM is the one you and your time find easiest to use and unless you and your team spend all day on Facebook, then the Lead Center probably isn’t the best option for managing leads.
